Prefer to buy domains from Google Domains, Cloudflare or Porkbun. Whoever has cheapest renew.

I like to subdomain over my personal site for nearly all personal projects I work on. Saves on cost.

I use Cloudflare to handle DNS.

Notes ​

• Compare the price between the domain registrars as they can have different prices. Who owns the domain has no effect on latency on accessing the website.
